Nice club, but so-so talent

Was in the Dallas area for business, and a Wednesday visit to Baby Dolls was disappointing, so I decided to give this place a try hoping for a more upscale experience and more exciting stage dancing.

FIRST VISIT: I rolled into the club around 6 PM on a Thursday evening, and noticed that the neon (?) sign outside wasn't illuminated yet even though the club supposedly opens at 11 AM. There was a $10 cover (I think) and the door girl asked for a tip; she wore glasses but was cute, and I liked the way she was dressed (skimpy black leotard), so I obliged.

I went into the club and was relieved that it had the upscale interior I was hoping for; it's a fairly large club with a variety of VIP rooms, a large central stage and a couple of smaller stages, But I was shocked when I discovered I was literally the only customer in the place. I was also shocked when I was charged only $2 for my beer--an afternoon special I presume. An attractive but somewhat stocky AA dancer (maybe a 6) started to chat me up; she was smart and a good conversationalist and said she had a college degree. She said she tried out at Baby Dolls but they turned her down for reasons unknown; that surprised me. She massaged my thighs and gave me a tour of the club. I agreed to some dances and she suggested three for a $120; that seemed steep considering I was the only customer, and I countered with three for $100, which had been mentioned in some of the reviews. I really don't like having to agree to multiple dances in advance, but she had spent a fair amount of time sitting with me, so I felt it was fair in this instance. She agreed to 3 for $100 but indicated I would have to pay five dollars per dance additional to the club to the lap dance room troll. I paid the toll to the troll and then she wanted me to pay in advance. Another thing I'm reluctant to do but went along in this instance. But I didn't get burned: the dances were pretty good with some stick shifting, but nothing exceptional.
