Visited: Saturday After Midnight

Visited the Rail on a Saturday night just around midnight. Luckily, I was waved in without having to wait this time. On a recent prior occasion, I was told the club was at capacity (it wasn't) and had to hold back for like five minutes. There is no cover for main club entrance (upstairs section called Upper Brass is $30) so I walked right in and ordered a Coors Light. Domestic beers here are $12.25.

The club was at like 60% capacity and not as full as it should be for a Saturday night at prime time. But this is a city-wide trend. Toronto's strip club scene has not bounced back well post-pandemic. The biggest reason is young hot dancers here are getting harder and harder to find. There are some such girls in the Mississauga clubs outside of town, but the downtown core is hurting for young hotties.

True to that trend, the club had the same three or four hotties it's relied on here for the last 5-10 years, which is pretty telling. I did notice one new hottie brunette on stage wearing glasses with a short bob haircut who easily cracked the top 5 based on her slim, fit physique. Before I saw her appear on the floor though, I grabbed a fit Caribbean girl named Leah for some dances ($20 each; no cover for dance room). She gave a very good dance with above-average one-way contact for the BR. She was also polite and straight with the dance count.
