A Slow Monday with a VIP

Arrived later than I usually do. At 5 PM valet charged $5 to self-park and cover was $10. Beer was $7 plus tip.

Club Basics: smaller club with about a 15 seat bar in the center. Small stage to the right just inside the door. You pass it to get to the bar. Booth seating around the walls rents for $20 an hour. Also small table seating for about 25 people total. Dances are $10 at bar or $20 in booths on day shift. VIP is in a room with a full locking door. There are about a dozen total. Room costs $100 plus tip to not check on you. Dancers get $200 minimum. Most do extras and most of them (but not all) expect more than the $200 for it. All prices about double on night shift.

There were about 20 dancers. 70% white with about 6-7 Latinas. Rare to see AA dancers on day shift. Talent is usually 6+ with some 8's and rarely a 9. Dancers tend to be a bit older, mid 20's to mid 30's. The place is all about VIP. Many "dancers" will not do $10 or $20 dances and only want to go to VIP. They often arrange appointments with regulars. On this trip 2 of the four that approached me turned and left when I wasn't ready to go to VIP immediately. They both had a VIP customer no more than 15 minutes later.
