Not Amazing, but Not Bad Either
Sugars is in a small town on the WI-MN border that somewhat felt like the middle of nowhere. The bar aesthics reflect this.
This is very much a dive bar looking club, similar to a lot of clubs in Wisconsin. You wouldn't even be able to tell it's a strip club right away from the outside. When you walk in there's an L-shaped bar table that you'll be face the short edge of. There wasn't a bouncer on the Sunday night I went, but the elderly woman bartending seemed to be handling those duties. The first area is just the bar, along with with darts and a few slot machines. It was bigger than I would've expected for a small strip club. I only got one light beer, if I remember correctly it was $4. On the right end of the bar area is the entrance to the pole and lap dance room.
The floor level stage on the left takes up most of the room. There's one pole, and each dancer picks her own songs from a touch screen juke box. On the left is the lap dance area. This is a semi-circle of restaurant booth looking couches all facing each other. As others have mentioned, these are completely open to the whole club and you'll be facing other people if you get a lap dance at the same time. The upside is you can get a preview of dancers' moves before buying a dance. The VIP area is a separate section with two of these booths facing each other. So there could be 1 other person in the same room as you for VIP.
