Late Afternoon Visit

I hit TD's just before 5pm on a Wednesday afternoon in mid-December, before the $10 cover kicked in. Nothing about the particulars of this place have changed much in a long time. Plenty of free parking. When you walk in, the bouncer wands you and scans your license. Once you're in, there is a main stage and a secondary one, which isn't used much this time of day. Lots of seating around small tables and at the main stage. Stage dancers do 2 songs per circuit. Decent table service and the waitresses always seem pretty hot and nicely attired. Drinks are reasonably priced--I had a $6 local IPA. (Aside: there's some great local brewers in Albuquerque; La Cumbre's beers are as good as anyone's in the western United States.) Dances ($25) are not on the main floor, but in two rooms just off it at opposite ends of the club, with partitioned booths that provide a relatively decent amount of privacy.

There were a surprisingly large number of dancers working, probably close to 20. There were not many customers, maybe 10-12. I was there for about an hour and a half, and sampled 3 dancers. The first said she was from Denver, where she danced and was a freelance circus performer. (Aside: when I asked what that entailed, she said she works parties and clubs doing acrobatics.) Blonde, tall, lean and athletic. Really sexy. Got a couple of dances from her, which were good, not great. Hands could roam everywhere except the kitty.

The second dance was from a Cuban girl who calls the club home. Black hair, nice curvy body with D cups, limited English. The dance was good, as she also was good with roaming hands. Nothing special, though, and left it at one dance with her.
