It'll cost ya
It's been many years since I've been to Delilah's, definitely since the pandemic and while a lot of things didn't change, I found the prices, or expectations to spend went through the roof. First, the particulars, off of Spring Garden Street between Delaware Ave and the elevated I95 with plenty of parking. Although, there was some odd shit happening in the parking lot, an above average number of people hanging out in vehicles or standing around, it gave me some pause. Anyway, once inside the cover was $15 and I emptied my pockets for the metal detector. The club is huge with a large series of stages and bars in the middle with stadium style levels surrounding them (mostly for bachelor parties and bottle service groups).
I got a beer, it was a little costly at $8, but not crazy. Sat for a few minutes at the bar under the stairs that girls come down from the dressing rooms and private dance area. I was approached by an attractive curvy girl. She had good conversation game and it was going well so I started asking about dances. She was really pushing 30 min private ones but wasn't talking price yet. Eventually, I decided to try her out for the normal lap dance room which is still just $20 per song, that hasn't changed since the pandemic.
The shared dance room is dark and slightly private if you don't have any other customers partaking. This is when the real upsell started. She was really pushing 30 mins private, which was $240 to the house plus $500 to the girl!! Now, I don't think that is club policy, but that this girl wanted that much in tip to make it worth her time. That's quite the request, nearly $750 is some crazy shit for 30 minutes. So after 1 dance, I called it and went back to the bar.
