Fun times. Definitely will be going back.

I was in NJ near Philly and decided to try out Purple Orchid. It’s an industrial area and didn’t seem too bad. There’s a big parking lot that is well lit and seems pretty safe. The club has very much a dive bar feel with one main room and a square bar that takes up most of the space. The stage is behind the bar with 2 poles.

I went on a Thursday around 10pm and the cover was $5. It was pretty crowded and I got on of the last stools at the bar. There were at least 15 ladies working. They were almost all black and all different shapes and sizes. I ordered a Miller Lite for $6. The girls are friendly and make their rounds for tips after they get off stage. The tip parade was constant but not too aggressive.

The ladies will also regularly come around and ask for private dances. The dances are $20 in an open room and $30 in a private room with a door (and small window). I got a few dances in the open room and all were very high mileage. The girls did ask if I wanted more in the private room, but I wasn’t feeling it and declined.
