Hoping for more from a Friday
Enter through a metal detector and be greeted by a doorman. Cover starts at 7 and was $10. Enter through a frosted glass door and you have a main stage right in front of you, and a side stage beyond that one. BTW - Does anyone know how long the video screen behind the side stage has had that broken section? Anybody know how it happened? I feel like it's been years.
There are two bars to your right with friendly and professional bartenders (that are all 7-9's themselves). I am a beer guy, so beers run between $6-$8, a Dogfish Head 60 minute will run you $8. Mixed drinks run around $15 and are always poured a double unless you ask for a single, which is cheaper. Finding the bathroom isn't easy, as the darkest hallway I've ever been in eventually leads to the bathroom which is to your left when you enter. You will pass the champagne private rooms on your left before the dark hallway.
The single dance stalls are at the far rear right of the club when you enter, about 12 stalls about 4'x8' or so. Dances are per song - $5 to the house + $20 topless, $30 nude - House fee is pre-paid.
I had a real tough time discerning names of the dancers being called up to the stage as I think the DJ swallowed the microphone before he called them up to the stage - or my hearing in the club has gone to hell. It was shift change around 7:00, as I saw a lot of dancers heading in and out in civilian clothes and the sets on the stage were long with few girls dancing or walking around. A really cute young blonde with bolt-ons caught my eye, but she was quickly busy with a customer and then another. I don't have the regular cred to pull her attention. There was a busty AA dancer (Toni?, Tori?) who was walking around and was tough to interact with. A few younger Asian dancers were chatting with customers, but didn't leave their stools unless to hit the stage for a short set. Again, I wish I got names, but I didn't want to be the old guy asking everyone's name over and over. There was a hot dancer who came over and chatted for a while (Vida?), but I wasn't feeling a connection and I was looking for a different type. Overall, there were about 15-18 dancers working, just none really of my type.
