Nothing changes

I had a client in town who was eager for some adult entertainment so Centerfolds it was. I end up here every few years and as the headline says- nothing has changed.

The club is down a side street just outside Chinatown in what was once a dodgy block but now surrounded by high-end condos. There is usually a doorman out front or just inside. We paid a $20 cover and were whisked inside to a table near the stage. The doormen can be a little aggressive so it’s good to be up front and I told him we’re just here for some drinks and dances. On the bottom floor is the stage, small bar, a series of tables and then a lap dance room on the side.

Talent has always been, and was this night, relatively decent. We had a round of beers and started to enjoy the stage show which is full nude. Unlike some Providence clubs, the girls actually do stuff on the pole which is nice. After a song or two we were approached by a pair (7-8 range) about going upstairs. Having not known anyone who has had a positive experience, I shut it down before prices were discussed and said we’d be up for a few dances.
