No bueno - the past was better

First time visiting in a long time and unfortunately it doesn’t compare to what it used to be. A little about the club - it is in an industrial area off Harry Hines rd. The building itself is small and you have to pay to park. Multiple parking options ranging from $5 to $15. I opted for the $5 parking next to the road in a dirt lot. It wasn’t bad except it was rainy and the lot doesn’t really hold up with the weather. Upon entry you walk through the metal detectors and paid a $15 fee to enter during the day. Received a wrist band and was in the club.

Right when you walk in there is a box for dances that looks like it was put together with pallets. To the right is a stage and some seating and to the left is the bar. Lots of ladies sitting around on this particular afternoon. All of them are Latina and really didn’t seem to be motivated. I sat down at a table by another stage that was closer to the back and on the way to the bathroom. I was there about 5 minutes and was approached by a dancer that spoke no English. She greeted me in a very appropriate handsy way but was not what I was looking for. There were much better options in age and size. I must have waited about 25 minutes before being approached again. This time by a much younger prettier dancer named Isabella. She barely spoke English but it was enough to have small talk. We decided to go dance in the wooden cage. Dances were $20 and were very conservative. There is a box guard outside that kept coming in and shining a light. It was distracting and Isabella seemed to disengage every time. It was distracting and after 3 dances I was done and left to go back to work.

In contrast this used to be a very high mileage place the last time I visited about 6 months ago. It seemed that they are taking a hard stance at limiting how much is going on. Not sure if that goes for the night shift as well but will probably attempt it in the next few weeks. Overall there are better places to visit within 5 mins. Hopefully they start the fun again soon and allowing the dancers to express themselves in a way that is more fun next time.
