Afternoon visit

Been frequenting Cheetas’s Pompano lately, but decided to mix it up with a daytime visit to the Booby Trap. Paid the $2 parking in a safe lot and entered where there was a main stage on first level with 2 bars at each end and tables across from stage on both sides. Appeared to be another VIP area upstairs, but did not make it up there. Ordered a cocktail which seemed pretty expensive - guessing was around $12 but did not count change closely (in comparison to $5 at Cheetah happy hour). There were a lot of girls there, most mainly sitting at their tables in groups. Overall, talent was mixed with most being Cubans of all shapes and sizes. Of the 25 or so dancers, there were 2-3 that were very hot and my spinner type. Every 10 minutes or so another girl would drop over asking for a table dance, which was a great deal for only $10. The dances had plenty of stick shifting and roaming. However, it seemed dancers were mainly interested in getting you to the VIP area which I was not looking to do this afternoon. Seemed to lose some interest when realized you only wanted the table dances. Overall, it was a decent afternoon experience, but I would still rate Cheetah’s higher for quality of dancers and their happy hour all day prices. Also prefer the music at Cheetas as Booby Trap played a lot more rap and club type music. This may be the better bet though if interested in VIP at a more reasonable price.
