Classic Montreal Club

Visited late on a Saturday night. No cover charge and doorman explains how the club works and takes you to a seat if you want. It's a cash only club so you won't be running any tabs on your card. He said tips are appreciated so I gave him $5. You need to puchase a drink in lieu of the lack of cover charge and keep drinking. I saw the doormen remove a couple of guys from the stage area who didn't have drinks in front of them. Beer was $9. You enter off the street on the main level and the bar is at the back of the club along with bathrooms. Overall its a fairly small club.

This is an old club and hasn't changed in the 20 or more years I've been coming to Montreal. It pretty dark inside and I wouldn't want to see it in the daylight. The stage is in the middle of the club with chairs surrounding it. Dancers rotate on stage and they get fully nude. Surprisingly some dancers use brighter lights when they dance and the front row dudes get a pretty good closeup of the action. The booths where you get dances are on two walls of the club. They have sheer curtains so you can see all that happens in the booth.

Probably 15 dancers working and maybe 2-3 were 6's. All the others were 4-5. Mostly white dancers and in the late 30's to late 40's age group and one had to be 50+. Most were in ok shape but looked good from a distance but not so much when up close. Dances are still $10 which is the appeal of this club. Most of the crowd were older as well. Seems to have a local bar feel to it. The most popular dancers are in the booths constantly and you have to wait outside the booth to get a shot with one of them as when they emerge a line forms for them. Most girls don't mingle and just wait for guys to approach them. The booths are almost always full and just a couple of the less desirable ladies walk around to the tables.
