I have gone here occasionally for years, and it's amazing how little things change there. That's good, because they generally have a good thing going. The cover was $10. There is a main stage, with seats slightly below floor level on either side. I prefer one or the other of the two small (like, 4 ft. diameter) round stages to either side of the main stage. A dollar spent here is well-spent, because it's possible to sit at the small table (for two) right next to the stage, and get the full attention of the dancer most of the time. I've also never gone there and not been able to go right to one or the other of these prime spots; apparently not everyone likes to be up close and interact with the talent. During each set, three (sometimes four) dancers rotate between songs among the three stages. This is good or bad, depending on whether you like the dancer at your stage for that song, or are waiting for the next one. You can always wander over to another stage and tip the dancer there, if she turns out to be your favorite that set.
Facing the front of the stage, and up a few steps, is an area with tables that isn't near any stage, but this is where the private dances happen. The major change is a slight improvement over a couple of years ago (so I don't know how recently this changed, but my most recent visit was mid-December) is that the dancer actually calls it a "lap dance" when she invites you. There didn't used to be any contact allowed, which meant there was a little incidental contact every now and then. The rules have relaxed slightly, so now there is significant contact by the dancer, but none initiated by the patron. For Massachusetts, it's as good mileage-wise as you should expect, with a couple of notable exceptions.
The dancers on a Monday night were mostly attractive. They run little stunts between sets; Polaroids on stage with all the dancers, $1 table (lap) dances, etc. They make the dancers sell videos and t-shirts as well. I had a couple of great $1 lap dances, but it's hard to get the dancer's attention at the right time, because while that's going on, everybody wants one. I had a nice lap dance in the back section (these are still $15 after all this time), but it took forever to get one, because every time I looked for a favorite dancer to ask, I couldn't find one. The two drawbacks are that dancers disappear for long periods of time (I guess there's a Champagne Room, but I wasn't interested, so can't tell you what that involves; that would be another thing that's changed in the last couple of years); and the wait service is spotty -- another thing that never seems to change here.
