Classy looking place, stepped in for a few minutes one Saturday evening, early by European standards, and the place was dead. Did not pay the entrance fee, as I promised to come back when there was more activity, but I read in the local newspaper the next day about the strip club " Scams " most of the local clubs have used to pull money from the wallets of German and British travellers.

If you do go in, be wary. I met someone who lost $150 in one of the strip clubs here due to a scam (he had a few too many beers, and they kept him from leaving with two huge bouncers). So he gave them all he had on him, and somehow got past the very experienced bouncers.

Next time you think of Riga strip clubs, think " poorhouse ", and walk away. I later found one of the many massage parlors for a few erotic massages, and got away for a fraction of what the club got from my friend.
