Pricey!

I stopped by Ricks one evening during a work trip to see what it was like. For starters I get nervous anytime I get scanned with a metal detector at the door...what kind of clients do they have? Sixteen bucks admission and a coat check and I was in.

The place is huge and I was there on a slower night so there was plenty of space. A domestic beer was $7 which felt steep but this is Raleigh. Overall, it was ok. What got me was a dance in the back was $45! Plus you had to pay $5 to the bouncer by the back room. So $50 for a dance may not seem high to some of you but to me it was a bit much.

I'm not in Raleigh too often but when I do I think I will pass on Ricks from here on out.
