Brief, inexpensive encounter
Playhouse Lounge is on Route 130 in Burlington - it’s a divided highway, so if you are heading north, you will have to carefully make a U-turn just past the club at the Honda dealer. (Side note - leaving the club to continue north is tricky, because there are no U-turns allowed for the first few breaks in the divided highway when you turn right out of the parking lot). The club is easy to find with a bright pink exterior and large, paved parking lot.
During the day, there is no bouncer, and the club is much darker inside than a sunny afternoon. Fortunately, it was overcast this day, so the visual adjustment wasn’t as bad to my older eyes. There were women milling all around at the bar, doing tip walks, and one was on the stage (more on her in a moment). The bartender collects your $10 cover and provides you with a non-alcoholic drink (actually I think you get two for the $10, but I never stick around long enough in the afternoons to find out if you get another). There are TVs on the walls, but sports programming is pretty thin during afternoons. Women are generally in decent shape, many are Brazilian. Day shift dancers at Playhouse are usually older and less attractive but more open for private dance hijinks than night shift younger ones, but they’re still above average in looks compared to the general public.
I am usually not very interested in pole dancing unless there is nothing else going on, but I was intrigued this time. Not sure of her name, but a slender woman, not particularly curvy, was wearing a white form-fitting dress (sort of like a long sweater) that was more like mini skirt length. The hotness she was doing was pulling her white thong down to her knees, keeping her lady parts under the dress, but still - it was very alluring.
