Terrible Visit - but maybe not!

Haven't been to this establishment in quite a few years - probably pre pandemic.

Not much has changed, though I do remember a time a decade ago when this was a good place to go for fun.

Got here around 4pm on a Thursday. No one sitting not he stage side of the place when I got there, and there was a large, overweight, about 35 year old WOC standing on the stage doing nothing. I proceeded through to the other side of the club where the bar and the pool tables are. A few latino men speaking spanish and playing pool, and a few regulars sitting at the bar. Two or three other dancers sitting at the bar trying to hit on the older guys sitting around sipping their beers. Found the one redeeming feature in the place - really hot mid 20s light skinned wOC bartender. Great looking smile, hot body, provocatively dressed. Ordered a beer from her and gladly watched her go get it and come back. Happily tipped her $5 and wanted to know if I could ask her a question. She said sure and leaned in. I told her she was by far, the best looking woman in the place and I wanted to know if she would be interested in a dance. She smiled, looked at me, and said thank you but she didn't do dances - she was the bartender. I explained that I understood, and said that I had been to Harry Os many tomes before but not in years, and I was familiar with what the dances were like. I said I would be happy with an actual lap dance - not the extras that always take place. I told her that she could set the parameters and whatever she said would be fine...I just wanted to spend a little private time with her. She again smiled, and said that it was a very enticing idea and she would be interested, but she was the bartender and while the bouncer could watch the bar for her, she said she would be jeopardizing her job. She was supposed to stay at the bar her entire time there. I said I understood and said I was sorry.

I sadly walked back to the other side of the bar and sat doen with a few singles to tip the overweight older dancer, and then a younger, thinner latina dancer that followed. She too was not very enticing and the girls and the place were really not doing anything for me. I decided to finish up my beer and get out of this sad place....and as I was ready to get up to go, the bartender came over to me. She asked me if I was staying or leaving, and I said that I was getting ready to head out. I told her that other than her, there was noting to stick around for. She smiled and again, I melted. I asked her why she came over to me - and she said she wanted to say thank you again for my nice comments before and she wanted me to know it really wasn't personal. She thought I was "cute" but she couldn't take a chance that her boss would find out and she would be fired. I said I understood and got up to leave. She stood in front of me and said "Oh yeah, and one more thing" ... and she leaned in to me and placed a sweet kiss on my lips and pushed something into my hand. She said maybe we could try something else and turned and headed back to the bar. I looked at the paper in my hand and it had her name and number and she had written "call me". Haven't done so yet, but I will. Was a lousy trip to Harry O's, but maybe in the end it will turn out to be a really worthwhile visit!
