Sunday Afternoon

I had a solo work trip to New Orleans and after confirming Bourbon street isn't very exciting on a Sunday afternoon, decided to pop in to Hustler as it appeared to be the only club open in the afternoon. I think it was about 4:30 when I arrived. Cover was $5. After entering, I ordered a Miller Lite at the bar. The beer was $7 but it was a 2 for 1 special.

After getting my beers, I watched the stage show for a bit. Girls were doing two song sets and all got topless on the second song. There were probably a dozen girls working, almost all white and in the 6-8 range. After declining a few, I agreed to a dance with a little spinner who was probably the best looking of the bunch. Dances are in the back of the club in semi private booths. It was $40 per or 3/$100. The girl collects the money up front and feeds it into a machine. As she's dancing, you can see the machine counting down your money. And trust me, it moves fast. The dance was mediocre at best. She didn't allow any touching of the tits (reserved for VIP apparently) but was okay with ass grabbing. After the dance and finishing my beers, I decided that it just wasn't worth it here.

My advice, which of course others have also given and I ignored, is to skip the clubs in nola and save your money for a different spot.
