Pretty good at Kittens

It was only my 2nd time at Kittens. It's been over a year since my first time. I'm not usually that far south, and the reviews it gets don't make it sound worth the drive. But on this Tuesday I was in the area and decided to stop in.

Cover + soda is $16. I was expecting it to be extremely dark inside, but it was only incredibly dark. Subtle difference. The club was a little bigger than I remember. The main stage has a couple dozen chairs in front of it with a padded bench at the back. The LDA had a couple dozen chairs, too, all bunched close in close together. Kind of resembled a maze. One thing that was the same from my last visit is that it's still the only club I've been to that won't let me wear my hat inside. Strange policy.

This club is known for the door vultures and today was no exception, although it wasn't as bad as I feared. After paying I went into the bathroom. When I came out and sat down Love stood there next to me until they brought me my drink, then she quickly got on my lap. She was slightly aggressive, but not too bad. I told her my eyes were still adjusting and that I wasn't ready for dances yet. She reluctantly got off my lap and sat two feet away, taking out her phone and turning her back to me. 10 seconds later a new girl was on my lap, also slightly aggressive but I had a positive recollection of her name from some previous reviews so I let her stay. She started massaging my back and neck, which, whatever, I don't care, but with her talking and reaching down below and me knowing I could have a good time with her, I decided we could go for a dance. She quoted the standard 1/$40 or 3/$100.
