Completely Dead, But Still Worth the Visit

I paid a visit on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30pm and expected the place to be a bit more happening than is normally the case immediately after they open, but that was not the case. When I arrived, there were only 3 other customers and the number would max out at 6 by the time I left. I counted approximately 10 dancers, nearly all of whom were sitting at the bar staring at their phones when they weren't on stage, most of whom were in the 5-7 range with a couple of exceptions. One was this skinny blonde who was attached at the hip to one of the other customers who was probably a regular so I didn't bother with her, and the other a rather attractive, well-endowed Hispanic brunette named Mia with whom I did a series of private dances and whom I would rate about an 8.5.

Mia was a lot of fun in the private room and gave a rather high mileage dance without stepping over the club's unwritten boundaries. She barely speaks a lick of English so that can be frustrating, but it didn't cause any issues during my time with her. Individual dances are still $20 per song so there hasn't yet been the price gouging that has occurred at some of the other area clubs (e.g. Go Go Rama, Bourbon Street) and, from my experience over the past several years with about 7 or 8 different girls, mileage is usually quite high but this obviously can vary considerably even with the same dancer due to whatever reason. They are also pretty fair about the time and generally don't consider one "song" to be 90 seconds in length. The only thing that turned me off about Mia is that she asked for a tip (una propina) which I find to be a bit tacky, for use of the better term, but I did give her an extra $10 in addition to the $120 for the 6 dances. Lap dances are performed in a small room to the right of the main bar and pool table area which is basically about 8 cubicle style open booths with dividers between them which make it more challenging to see what is happening next to you than across from you.

I don't know what kind of crowd this place gets in the evenings, but every time I have gone during the day regardless of the day of the week or if it was somewhat later than noon when they open, the dancers have always outnumbered the customers. I have yet to encounter a true knockout here, but you can usually find someone to your liking as long as you don't mind Hispanic or Russian women. There isn't really much else in the way of ethnic diversity here. Barmaids are usually attentive and friendly, but I have found that tends to vary with their level of physical attractiveness which isn't at all surprising.
