Like the good old days

I visited the Gold Club on my first trip to the Sacramento area, and really loved the place. It reminded me of San Francisco-area clubs twenty years ago; there was a reasonable sized crowd who were actually applauding and a reasonable number of dancers some of whom were actually engaged in dancing. Dancers on the stage were energetic and made lots of eye contact. A wide variety of body types.

I was there on a thursday night - the club seems to have XXX feature dancers many thursday/friday/saturday, so I stayed for the feature (Jillian). I haven't seen a XXX feature in a long while (a thing of the past near SF), and it was surprisingly fun - energetic and practiced dancer and extremely sexy.

I had private dances with two dancers. Private dances are in a separate room with some but not infinite privacy, booths with no curtains. Dance prices varied but IIRC were about $100/3 dances for most dancers. One had pretty clear boundaries about what to touch, but was pretty and energetic about grinding and fun; the other was putting my hands everywhere and generally surprisingly fun for a not-quite-private area. Both reasonably priced with no real upselling. Left happy.
