Lackluster time not worth the visit.

Recently had several lackluster visits to Industrial Strip. They open at 7pm, and I arrived around 8:30pm.

There’s plenty of free parking which is great. If you can show a union card the cover is reduced to like $5. Mondays are $10 dances and you’d think this would mean everyone would be getting dances and the girls would be super busy. Nope. After paying the cover and entering there’s immediately a bar on the right with a few customers. Across from that is seating around a smaller satellite stage and then just beyond that is the main stage and more seats with another small unused stage beyond that.

Less 10 customers there and probably the same amount of dancers so a 1/1 ratio. After sitting down and waiting for a drink and looking around I realize none of the customers have drinks. I waited 90 minutes and during that time not one customer was offered a drink by the waitress. Nuts. The dancers used to have more variety but are now all Latina and few speak English. Lack of variety could be fine but the vibe is a little different now. They huddled together at the stools that line the wall across the stage and stayed on their phones or talked amongst themselves the full 2 hours I was there watching the Bears game.
