Swing and a miss on a dull Friday night

Wandered into the club around 10pm on a Friday night. It's always clean, and the dances are pretty affordable given it's So Cal. The place was packed with both customers and dancers but generally, speaking, the dancers left something to be desired. They run "specials" almost repeatedly throughout the night on busy nights like this. The most attractive employees on this night were the bartender and cocktail waitress imo. Friendly for the most part, but most of the dancers would pair up or congregate in small groups while staring at their phones. The customers were pretty young on average (20s) and the atmosphere was a bit boring. This was pretty disappointing for a Friday night. I've found that mid-week visits are much more enjoyable when there's an opportunity to socialize with dancers, the place isn't so crowded, and you can get some quality dances that feel a bit more personalized. I feel as though some of the regular dancers avoid the hustle of the busy weekend nights. They have regulars that see them during the week, and I've generally found that most of my positive experiences in clubs (especially this one) have happened during the week. I never give up on the place considering the trouble it is to travel out to the Inland Empire or Los Angeles County, but I'll probably pass on any visit over the weekends for quite some time.
