Who'd a thunk you could have fun in Grand Junction on a Monday night?
So I found myself in Grand Junction, CO of all places and discovered, through TUSCL, that there is a strip club here. The last review was about 9 months ago so obviously not a lot of reviewing monger get out to this neck of the woods. The club is in a sort of desolate area south and west of Grand Junction proper. There is a large parking lot (free) and the neighborhood does not appear unsafe (unless a Coyote gets you. . .)
On Monday at about 8:30 I paid a $10 cover charge, walked into a fairly large club with a main room that has a large oval stage the takes up the center of the room with two poles and individual chairs around the stage. There are a couple of sofas set back between the stage and the bar and then there are some loveseat type booths on either end of the oval stage that had "VIP only" signs on them. I guess you have to pay extra to sit in them like they so in some of the FL clubs. There is a pool table to the left of the entry where you pay the cover. The bar takes up the entire back wall. The bathroom is down a hallway on the right side from where you pay the cover entry and it was clean (no door on the room itself but everything is recessed back). They do not give you change for singles but there is a bill changer that will -- I brought in a bunch of $1s so I don't know if the money changer charged a commission. There is also an ATM but I didn't get any money out.
I bought a Modelo bottle for $6 (plus tip) and spoke to the bartender as there was absolutely nothing going on in the club. No music, no dancers on stage and really no patrons. I was the only guy there at this time. I told the bartender that if he got some girls out to dance, I would tip them and so he got the DJ to start the music and call dancers on stage. A couple of other patrons came in shortly after so there were 3-4 of us but only me and one other guy were really tipping.
There were 4 girls this evening -- all 6-8 on the hotness scale.
Santana -- a fairly statuesque, dark haired dancer (I would guess late 20s early 30s) with nice MM D's with pierced nipples and nice legs and butt. She said that she is a traveler and works at the Palamino in Las Vegas as well as some clubs in Denver and that she was passing through. Her stage show was sort of swaying to the music on the pole, she got topless and did some clothed spread eagle maneuvers for those of us tipping at the chairs around the stage.
Venus -- a sort of brown mid-back length frizzy hair dancer with very nice natural Bs, a little stomach pooch and a nice butt (probably early 30s). She wasn't as extroverted as Santana but still nice. She said she was originally from Chicago, then danced in Denver some but was worried about the safety in many of those clubs and so came to little Grand Junction. She also had a meh stage show and got topless briefly.
Honey -- a very petite AA dancer with nice As, a very slender body and a nice butt. Quite cute with mid-back length braided hair. She was originally from Philly but didn't dance there. Her stage show was outstanding -- she told me that when she isn't at the club, she teaches competitive pole work and also does some circus stuff. She got topless on stage.
Pandora -- sort of a sultry beauty -- long dark hair and what appeared to be natural Cs. She never took off her top on stage. She did any interesting stage "dance" where she essentially laid down on her back, with her head upside down sort of looking at me and then she arched her pelvis and legs up over my head. She also admonished me when I touched her shoulder and hair saying that we couldn't do that while she was on stage, only in the private dances.
I was told that since there is alcohol in the club, there can be no nudity where booze is present. They even have to wear two bottoms to prevent any sort of revealing "slippage" (Colorado state law). However, in the private dances, where no alcohol can be taken, some girls will get nude.
The lap dances are topless, $40/song on the main floor in sort of communal stalls. The private dances are upstairs in rooms with couches and curtains that draw across the door. Interestingly, there is a sign on the wall that says the the timed dances are usually $150/15 minutes but that the actual price should be negotiated with the dancer! It was the first time I had seen such a sign in a club.
I bought Honey a shot ($7) and then took her upstairs for a 15 minute dance. Her price was $250 for the dance (totally nude) and it was a very high mileage, totally legal dance. She's a sweetheart. I left very satisfied.
So, in general, the club is very nice and the dancers were quite attractive. It's not cheap but I enjoyed myself. I'm not sure I'll ever be back in this area but I would recommend it for anyone who finds themselves stuck in this part of the country.
