Friendly comfortable club where you can have a good time without spending a ton

I've visited the KoD many times over the years while passing through the Minneapolis / St. Paul area. Of the clubs in the Twin Cities, this is not the highest end club, but it is my favorite. The KoD is pretty close to the airport, and one of the only clubs outside of downtown Minneapolis. It is located near the edge of an industrial area, which seems to draw a good mix of blue collar workers, businessmen and lonely old farts.

A bouncer will scan your ID at the entrance (no way around this as far as I know) and take a $10 cover charge. The main stage is straight ahead as you enter, with the bar to the left and restroom to the right. There are mirrors on the walls which makes the club feel quite large.

Towards the far end of the club, elevated a a few steps above than the main floor are the DJ booth, second stage, smaller second bar and the dressing room. I've only been to the KoD once when the upper stage & bar was in use. From what I gather, it's rarely open since covid. Most nights it's off-limits to anyone other than the dancers and club staff.
