Wasted half hour I won't get back

There are about 4 dive bars in this part of Akron which look and feel similar and offer similar services. Between Old Glory Daze, G Spot, Lucky Corner and Lusty Adventures, Lusty's is the divey-est. I visited on a Thursday afternoon a few weeks ago. This turned out to be a waste of time.

Others have said they improved the place after the fire. I didn't look around closely, but it wasn't immediately obvious to me. You enter the main long rectangular room with a bar down the right side. About 10 seats at the bar and a couple of tables with chairs on the left side of this room. Through an opening to the left near the back is a similar size room with a pool table (maybe 2?). The men's room is on the far side of this room. It's the same as it's always been. One dirty, barely functional toilet, a busted, non-working urinal, a sink through the wooden door which barely closes. At least there are usually some paper towels on the sink.

My bottled water was $2 and there's no cover, at least in the afternoon. They also sell bottled beer and have a full bar. I believe prices are inexpensive. Same small, skinny, tired looking bartender (Taylor?). I was approached by a very hefty AA dancer who offered a bar dance. I declined. There was a passable white lady dancing for a PL at the far end of the bar. Thought she might be worth a spin, so I hung out for a few songs. When she finished dancing for him she sat down and made no effort to approach anyone else. There were about 3 PLs at the bar. There was one other dance in the room when I arrived, but she went outside and didn't return while I was there.
