Not bad, but don’t go out of your way

The large parking lot was mostly empty at a little after 10 PM on Monday evening. Cover is $10, waived with military ID. Before entry the door girl put a wrist band on me. When I asked her what is was for, she laughed and said she didn’t know.

Inside, the club looks nicer than I remembered it from a brief stop I made on the way to Tampa a few years ago. I don’t think I would call it upscale, but it looks nice and well maintained. There is a long bar to the left, large rectangular stage with two poles in the middle of the room, VIP area in the right corner. A Coke was $4.

There were only about a half dozen customers, half playing pool and half hanging out at the bar. It looked like there were about nine or ten dancers, most of whom were sitting at a table near the VIP area, a couple at the bar, one sleeping on a couch, a couple hunched over their phones.
