Better than I anticipated

Thought I would try this place based on the reviews on this site and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. The place is a bit rough & ready but when I arrived around 8pm on Tuesday the big bouncer had a smile on his face and shook my hand to welcome me. The entrance isn’t immediately obvious – I first went into the washroom by mistake! When you find your way in there is a large stage in front of you with the bar to your left. There is another small stage in front of the bar and another in the back area behind it. These are not used when things are quiet as they were tonight.

The bar didn’t match what I expected from reading the reviews. I expected a bunch of girls in pasties & bootie shorts like the bad old days in Houston but that’s not what I saw. Yes, some girls had pasties but not many and the outfits they wore would have fitted in any other Houston strip club.

Cover was $10 & a highball & (separate) soda were around $6 each.
