A lot of high pressure tactics, but one diamond in the rough
Went there as a couple. Dozens of women standing around with very few patrons. One dancer half-heartedly dancing on stage, keeping her top on. Upon sitting down, we were immediately approached in an aggressive manner. The first dancer forcefully imposed a tour on us, before demanding we purchase a >$1000 package deal for time in a skybox with her. We had to refuse more than 8 times, and even then she extorted >$100 from my partner for her time. Should have been more insistent, but mistakenly trying to be nice. I generally expect dancers to take the hint that we are not interested, but she wouldn't accept it when said right out. Sitting back down in the main room, there were more non-acrobatic and bikini-clad dances on stage, and a parade of better looking and much nicer dancers coming to talk to us. Finally, saw a dancer on stage get topless. The place was still pretty dead, with mostly 5-6/10 dancers. We finally chose the hottest dancer (genuine 10) and had a private dance. That was worth the money, but only because the dancer we chose was nice in addition to being hot. She made my partner feel included, which was much appreciated. A diamond in the rough. Wish she were at another club. I wouldn't go back to Sapphire, either single or as a couple.
