Pleasantly surprised by the private dances

In the area for work, didn’t feel like traveling to the mainland for some of the more popular clubs. Mermaids it is!

First glance: it’s a dive. Plenty of parking, no pat down or ID scan and also no cover. I may be wrong, but I believe it’s always no cover. Drinks were average, think I paid $7-8 for a Bud Lite.

The club is big but a lot of the space goes to waste. There’s a decent size bar opposite a massive, multi-level stage. The stage has multiple areas and poles, but only one girl dances at a time, so much of it goes unused. The stage-side seats aren’t very conducive to sitting and tipping either—they’re kinda low and awkward.
