Exit Stage Left

Decided to Hit the Cricket for a TGIF, and well it was more like WTF. First time in a long time I came during the day shift. It used to be well worth the trip. Today not so much. No Parking fee, no admission, went to a table after door man greet. Before I could make it to the table I noticed two dancers at the bar on their phones. They did not look up. The waitress was in a booth with a patron, so I waited and waited for a drink. Grabbed the mini bucket special for $11. Not to much talent and even less enthusiasm. I kept wondering if it was a monday it was so slow and dead. Not that many patrons and it was understandable. Only one dancer came to the table as I was there. She was friendly and offered everything for $300. Not my speed. I quickly finished my first beer and left before the second one was gone. Hopefully this is not the new norm.
