Decent time - didn’t have many options on a sunday
After reading up plenty on various establishments and eagerly awaiting my first business trip to ATL… I neglected to check one thing… what places are open on Sundays! After arriving at the hotel near midnight I was scrambling to figure out what was the best mileage place that wasn’t too far of an Uber ride outside of downtown Atlanta. Pink pony seemed like the closest option on short notice. Mileage didn’t seem that great from prior reviews but I thought ehh what the hell let’s see what a low mileage ATL club is like on short notice.
Roll up in Uber, pay a cover (honestly don’t remember if it was $10 or $20.. I think $20). Going in I’m a little bit overwhelmed by neon light colored stages (3), loud ish music, and it’s pretty packed. 2 bars on the right as you walk in next to 2 small stages, one bar back left next to the main stage. Booths around the walls. Took me a while to get my bearings. Not many places to sit.. I guess being one of the nearby places open on a Sunday is good for business!
Bud lights were $7 at the bar, which took an annoyingly long time to get. One of the waitresses (short blonde hair, spinner type) is easily the hottest girl in the club. Disappointed she doesn’t dance, if she did I would have thrown down a lot more $ tonight. Too busy and cramped to try to chat her up.
