Not Even A Swing And A Miss - Never Even Got Up To Bat

I was in the D for business and was looking to mix in a little pleasure as well. Based upon other reviews I decided to check the Criket. Maybe my Google-Fu is bad, but their web presence is either nonexistent or hard to find, and finding out basics such as what hours they are open or if there was a published dancer line up was impossible.

I arrived at around 8 PM. The place is well lit and easy to find, parking is free and around the back of the building. You enter and there is a $10 cover. It’s a mandatory coat check, so I left mine in the vehicle. You get wanded as well. Oddly enough, cell phones are allowed and it seemed everyone was on them.

Booths are reserved for an unknown price, so I took a seat at the bar. A Modelo set me back $12 and the change came back correctly. I sat next to a dancer eating her dinner who continued to concentrate on her meal. Fair enough. There were about 12 women dancing, seemingly evenly split between attractive WOC and white chicks and chubbier women. Generally speaking, they were mostly 7-8.
