Diamonds in ATL

Visited twice during a recent visit to ATL. Early afternoon for both visits. Easy to find parking. Light pat down at the door and $10 to enter. Bathroom on the right near the entrance and then the bar. Stage in the middle of the front room. Booths along the walls with a few tables around. DJ past the stage on the left and another bar beyond that. Small stage on the back. VIP also in the back, past the dancer dancer dressing room. Lots of smoke, and it’s more than cigarettes.

First visit was Thursday. Not long after arriving, some rapper dude had a film crew making a video by the back stage. He was in front of the stage lip syncing and raining cash while a girl on the stage danced. Most of the club stopped to watch the action. Interesting for a few minutes but soon became a distraction.

Several girls of various shapes, sizes and colors stopped by but obviously none wanted a discussion because the opening line was “wanna dance?”. Waitress briefly asked “you ok” as she quickly walked by so I didn’t bother to get drinks.
