Not Worthy to Be In the Pompano Rotation
As a long-time fan of the Pompano Triangle, I often wondered why the other clubs in the area are never really talked about. After this visit, I get why. The club is located at the end of an industrial street. From the outside, it looks like a nondescript metal warehouse building. I got there late on a Thursday and there was no charge for parking.
I entered and paid $10 to get in. The cute little cashier couldn't get the register to work so I had to stand there for about 5 minutes waiting so she could make change for my $20. Security guard walked up and gave me a very quick pat-down and welcomed me in.
Upon entering there is a long bar immediately the right and a long stage in the middle. The place seems to have seen better days. It's a little run down and dated. It was also almost completely dead. There were maybe 5 dancers with an average rating of 6 at best. 3 Latinas were sitting at a table on their phones and one AA was with a customer. The 5th was a white girl that approached me 3 minutes after I sat and ordered my $7 Corona.
