Good for a beer and a little view

This is review is a couple months old and combines a few visits to The Raven.

The club is a single open room with a bar, two poles and a swing in the center, with seating all around, and a pool table at the back. As another review mentioned, there are TVs all over and very strong air conditioning (most of the girls actually complained about it when they came by). Beer was about $5, the bartender seemed to be pretty attentive, but there weren’t many customers when I was there. The owner/manager seems really chill, was greeting everyone when I came in, and the place definitely came off as more of a chill neighborhood bar. There is ample parking, and the club and bathroom are clean. There was a $10 cover on one visit, but not on the others.

Each time I was there, after 9 during the week, there were about 8 girls. Most in the 4-5 range, with a few 7’s. There was a good mix of white, AA, and Latinas. While the girls are on stage, they don’t come up for tips so you can practice your dollar bill toss to send money to the stage. Each time I’ve been there the quality of the stage show varies from the girl that insanely enthusiastic and used the ring well, to those just moving through the motions. After their stage set the girls walk around the inside of the bar for tips. Some of the girls would also chat your ear off before asking for a dance, while I appreciate not being pushy, I don’t need the full life story.
