Quiet Thursday night

Buddy and I went to the Lumberyard on a Thursday night approximately 1 month ago. We arrived around 10pm and stayed for a couple of hours. The parking lot was nearly empty. The place is large with 3 stages, but when there are more dancers sitting around than costumers, it tends to make for a dull evening.

Dancers would take turns on the top stage for 2 songs (occasionally it would take half of a song before the next dancer would get on stage). By the time we left (~2 hours), they started to use the middle stage. There were approximately 10 to 15 dancers, but if they were not on stage, they were typically loitering or sitting around the building. The place is extremely dark inside, so it's hard to tell at times where the dancers are located.

We spent most of our time at the stage and watching each of the dancers. Most would dance around and get topless for the first song. By the 2nd, most would get totally nude. Some of the dancers were a little more conservative since the tipping was bad at times, but we would always get a flash or 2 (helps when you are 1 of the few tippers). Most of the dancers were slightly above average with 2 or 3 that were near the top of my scale, and a couple that I had no interest in at all.
