A couple of visit’s to Scarlett’s Ybor Strip

I had spent some time researching clubs on TUSCL for my recent trip. Initially, I was sort of disappointed about what I was reading about this place. I knew I wanted to visit as I had made the electronic acquaintance of Serenity Sinn and wanted to meet her in person. Recent reviews pined for the “good old days” when much fun could be had but present reports suggested that things were not as consistent as they once were. I figured it’s always YMMV, regardless of the place and so I temporized my expectations and decided to visit.

This report is a combination of two visits. A Wednesday evening and also a Friday evening both about the 8:00 pm to midnight frame. The cover on Weds was $10 and the cover on Friday was $15. Both had 1 drink minimums (all non alcoholic) and I think water was $6.

Serenity was tending bar both nights and got me my water. She’s delightful. While she was obviously busy with her obligations, she went out of her way to spend some time with me when things were slow at the bar and we got to make acquaintances in person which is always more enjoyable than the impersonal medium that is TUSCL. Disappointingly, she wasn’t dancing but that didn’t stop her from coming over and sitting on my lap for some fun conversation.
