1990s R&B vibes, curves for days, chill atmosphere
Arrived around 11:30 after spending time at Deja Vu, my wife and one of her girlfriends. Staff who greeted us were friendly and professional. Inside, the aesthetic was…late-‘90s R&B music video, if that makes sense. I remember seeing faux-industrial steel, purple, and lots of TVs (two of which appeared to be broken at the time).
The girls were curvy, nice, not pushy, and knew how to work the pole. Also, they were the perfect amount of flirty both with me (man) and the wife and lady friend. When our friend declined a dance from a babely dancer who my friend just wasn’t that into, she was so chill and still friendly about it that my wife commented, “Now that’s how to handle someone telling you they’re not interested. We should get a dance when she comes back.” Unfortunately, by the time she cycled back we were leaving.
Bummer that the place isn’t nude but the dancers made sure that little was left to the imagination. Mostly women of color that night, decent range of body types but for sure on the curvy side (which I’m not mad about!).
