A good first visit

Was happy to have a friend recommend this place. A good variety of Latina talent, a good vibe and a reasonable opportunity for fun made it a solid first visit.

Rectangular stage with 2 poles is in the middle of the bar, and 2 girls go up to dance a 2 song set. Some dance, some just sway. After dancing they’ll circle inside the bar for tips, usually making 2 rounds. Because of the shape of the bar, most of the time you end up just handing them the tip.

Dancers are primarily Latina and for most, English is a challenge. I had a hard time with names and any kind of conversation, but you figure out a way to test their level of interest and the potential for enjoyment. Regular dances in the back are $20 in an open area with a set of benches separated by a partition. The benches are hard and uncomfortable, and most are out in the open. A large guy sitting near the door takes the first $20 and tracks the time (4 minutes for each dance). You settle up at the end for any additional dances you take. With the open benches and the mirror on the wall, most spots are within clear sight of the doorman. The best options seem to be at the end of the bar.
