What a waste

In town for two nights and had a little time so I scootered over to Devil's Triangle from my hotel. Man at the door escorted me downstairs and charged me $30 for entry (comes with one free non alcohol drink). It was about 830p and they opened at 6p so I hoped things would be going but it was dead. There were about half a dozen girls. Most of them outweighed me by 30-50 pounds. I was immediately approached by a girl whom I politely rejected, and then another. I'd already paid my $30 so I figured I'd hang out for a bit and see if there was anyone I'd consider spending time with. There were a couple of girls bigger than anyone I'd ever seen in that little clothing and hope to never see again. Finally a tiny blond cutie came by. She had been sitting with the only other customer. I caught her eye and she waved but she was next up on stage, so I went up to watch and tip her. She was clearly over 30 but great little body and pole work. Not as pretty as the girls I like to spend time with but the best in here by at at three points. After her stage set, she came and sat with me for a bit. I agreed to do three dances for $100 and she led me I to a back room. The lap dance areas line the wall and have sheer curtains separating them from the room. Decent lighting. Dance was good contact. Her hair smelled like stale popcorn. We went to sit down again and I was considering whether I would get more dances from her or just bail, when she told me she was just getting over a cold. I excused myself to the bathroom, washed my hands, and then when I came back I thanked her for her time and told her I was going to sit for a bit and probably leave soon.

A dark haired cutie had been up onstage so I caught her eye and she came to sit with me. Not quite as pretty up close as on stage but she was under age 30. Probably. I did another 3-for-$100 with her and decided to cut my losses. I hadn't planned to stay long anyway but this was a disappointment.

Over the past 1.5 years I've been to clubs in several cities and this is tied with SF for the worst. Maybe being there at 9pm on a Saturday night is too early but if so then it's just not for me. Really made me appreciate my "home club" in Denver.
