Good times at the yellow rose.

This review encompasses 2 visits on the same weekend in Aug (Thurs and Sun). Traveled down to Austin for a bro weekend and decided to try yellow rose based on some of the reviews on this site.

Cover was about $25 and was looked over by a large security guy on the way in. Bathroom was right near the entrance and did not have a troll both visits was clean but the stalls were worn and could be replaced. Inside there are 2 stages, main floor with poles and dance area for at least 2 girls at a time. There is a 2nd stage where the lap dances happen that only had 1 girl dancing. A large bar occupies an entire wall and has the requisite sports TVs, hot bartenders, and girls hanging out.

We were seated at a table and both ordered beer (about $8). Server was annoyed we did not get a bottle or more expensive drinks. I did buy one of the girls a mixed cocktail which was about $14. The stage show was nothing special. Not that it was bad but I didn't notice anything that caught my eye as far as talent or technique. The girls ranged from 6 to 9 with more of them falling on the 7 to 9 range. Most sat for about a min and if you didn't want to dance right away moved on. I prefer to hang out and get to know the girls a bit so this was a pretty big turn off for me. However there were a few that actually used thier brain and social skills and chatted me up. Most of them got at least a LD or 2. Two of the most notable were Cherry and a girl I'll call "L".
