After leaving Christie's, I arrived at The Pony at 11:30PM, Monday evening, January 8, 2007. Paid my $6 cover and entered the club. The club was fairly packed, about 35 customers and about 12 dancers, ranging in appearance from 6 to 9. All of the tables and seats were taken on the lower level, so I sat down at a table on the raised level. After tipping a lovely dancer on the satelite stage next to me, she asked me if anyone ever told me that I looked like Hugh Hefner. I commented that I had been told that before. (Such a nice comment, but without his money, I wasn't going to get much further with her, no doubt) About 5 minutes later, security came by and advised me that to sit up on this level, it would cost $20. I immediately got up and roamed the club, looking for a seat.

With no seating available and the bar jam packed, I didn't even order a drink. I was kind of depressed of the situation because I was looking forward to getting some LDs from the better looking dancers here.

I departed the club at 11:40PM, spending $6 on cover. This is still one of three very nice clubs remaining in Memphis that I recommend, along with Christie's and The Gold Club. Here again, it's a better club for me, during daytime visits.
