Deja No
We arrived shortly after 7:00, starting time on Saturdays. There was free parking in a large lot. The entrance door doesn’t face the busy road, which I LOVED, since I hate feeling exposed to drivers when entering a strip club. We walked in to see a reception counter with a sign pointing to the left that asked us to check in at the bar. The pleasant waitress took our $20 per person entrance fee and explained that Coke products and water were free, so I got a water. Alcohol is not served. There’s one main stage, opposite the bar, with clusters of small tables and upholstered chairs surrounding the stage. I saw two smaller side stages that were not in use. There are various booths lining the perimeter that cost $25 - $100 to sit at - large placards on each booth carry the price. Bathrooms are diagonally to the right from the entrance door and bar. There were three other customers sitting at single tables scattered throughout. We took our drinks and sat down in front of an empty stage. Two songs played with no dancer. Finally Charlie took the stage and danced for two dances. She was great - slow, sensual dancing mixed with pole tricks. After she left the stage, two more songs played with no dancer. The second dancer, Lily, came out and danced for two songs. Then another two song intermission. A couple ladies arrived with bags and entered the backstage area. I’m guessing they were dancers. Kinda distracting. Then a blonde dancer came out. I forget her name, but the DJ said she was the 2023 showgirl of the year. She danced a little bit, then stopped and stared at a group of three guys who had arrived. It seemed like she was trying to get them to tip. She stopped dancing for about two minutes and held a staring contest with them. They eventually got up and left. The second song started, and she did the same thing to another customer, who jumped up and sat at the tip rail. We decided to leave then, after less than an hour. I’d never been to any Deja Vu before, and I probably won’t be back; we were a few hours from home, so it’s not difficult to avoid this franchise. The three guys who left were in the parking lot, discussing whether they should leave or go back in.
