Another Meh Experience

I've been patiently waiting for the GGR to return to its glory days of yesteryear when it was arguably the place to be for fine adult entertainment in the central NJ area. Well, I am still waiting...

Dropped by on a Monday which already puts you at a slight disadvantage because there aren't as many girls scheduled to work early in the week as compared to Thursday through Saturday. So you are most likely going to be lacking both quality and quantity, but unfortunately my current schedule did not permit me to go on any other day of the week. Sometimes they will post offers for free or discounted admission on their FB and/or IG pages, but this is only during the week and usually not until after they have been open for about an hour. I got there around 4:20 (the main door was still locked even though they are supposed to open at 4) and, when they finally opened, there was still no discount offer to be found anywhere so I got stuck coughing up the whole $20 to walk through the door. Then you are required to buy at least one non-alcoholic drink for $7, but they do give you free refills. Technically it will cost you $1 or $2 for each refill because you really should tip the bartender, but at least they are pretty reasonable about that.

As has been described countless times previously, there is one large rectangular stage which takes up the majority of the general area with seats situated immediately around the stage and another row of seats away from the stage where most men sit and where you do not have to tip. This is literally the only strip club/go go bar I have ever been to where you can go more than a few minutes without having to part with any of your money. That is one of the good things about a place which has otherwise gone seriously downhill over the past several years. Each girl does a stage set which lasts anywhere from about 12 to 15 minutes. It can be really boring if you don't give a shit about who is currently the featured performer.
