Without Borders B4 the Border

I was passing thru Detroit on my way to Windsor mid-Friday afternoon and was contemplating where to make a stop for a little T&A&R&R&?? I narrowed my choices down to Landing Strip, BT's or my old tried and true, the Flight Club. I only had time for one, so FC it was.

I pulled into the newly redesigned entrance at ~ 2pm. The driveway in is now slightly more (100'?) to the west and has a turnaround area, valet still $8 and the doors in are in the same place. They are still working on it and it looks somewhat like the old Penthouse set up. No cover to enter. Robbie the friendly, polite doorman recognized me despite the fact it's been over a year and asked where I'd like to sit. The lower bar area near the waitress stand was my choice to get a good view of the main and west satellite stages; the two in use at this time.

I ordered my favorite N/A beer, Heineken 0.0% which cost aboot $10? I would put the dancer count at 12-15 ladies and it seemed they were adding names every 10-15 minutes. A good variety of shapes, sizes, hair color, ethnicity and ages such that one could definitely find something to your liking; overall rating I would put in the 6 to 9 range.
