I went to the Kongo Klub on a Friday night at 00:30. There was no cover charge. When I saw the picture of Clydesdales on the wall near the door, I thought this place was going to be my kind of honky-tonk titty bar. My high hopes were squashed somewhat when I saw a sign on another wall that said: "No touching. No cameras." The bar is in the back of the room. Sincweisers were $3.75. The stage is in a pit a couple steps down in the southeast corner. It has a spinning pole. Stage contact is mostly limited to dancers shoving their breasts in your face. There is a pool table, two dart boards, and six video slot machines in the back left of the floorplan. The Dollar Tree demographic tended to congregate in this area. The crowd was mostly under forty years old with a lot of mixed groups of males and females. The outdoor smoking patio was a popular spot to escape the loud music if you actually wanted to have a conversation with a dancer. The ATM has a maximum withdrawal of $300 and a $3.50 fee.

There were eight dancers working: Karma, Nova, Layla, Penny Lane, Constance, Tinker Bell, Ramona, and Dylan. All of the dancers were Caucasian and in their twenties or thirties. The talent was better than I was expecting for rural South Dakota. Many of the dancers drive in from Sioux Falls. Dylan was Caucasian with black hair and brown eyes. She wore glasses and was into video gaming. I would grade her out at a 7. Ramona was Caucasian with reddish blonde hair and covered in tattoos. She had big fake DD cups. I would say she was in her mid-thirties. I would grade her out at a 7. The stage show is nude, and I appreciated the fact that every single dancer obliged to take her thong off. Some dancers seemed to really enjoy flaunting their shaved and trimmed beavers to the tippers. Dancers made good money on stage tips. Some would profit $100 to $200 in singles during their three-song stage sets.

Lap dances are not very private. Most of the club can see right into the communal lap dance area. It is a room with a bunch of couches facing each other. The VIP rooms are along the same wall and not much less private than the communal area. The VIP rooms have a single couch and see-through curtains. Lap dances are $25 per song. The Kongo Klub takes $5 and lets the dancer keep $20. The VIP rooms are $100 for fifteen minutes and $200 for thirty minutes. I did a few songs with Ramona. Despite the club being fully nude on stage, dancers can only get topless during lap dances. I found out that contact was one-way. Every time I put my hands on the sides of Ramona’s thighs or hips, she pulled them away. Most South Dakota strip clubs are one-way contact, so it wasn’t too shocking. I did enjoy being suffocated by her fake tits though.
