Pleasant afternoon visit.

I was in St. Louis for a meeting, so thought I would update my Washington Park visits. First was C. Mowe’s. As described in other reviews, there is a very long bar in front of you as you come in. There are stages to the right and left, though no one danced on them while I was there. There are tables and chairs scattered around the floor.

I was charged 6 for a water and there didn’t appear to be a separate cover charge. A dancer drink cost me 10.

Most of the activity was at the bar, with what seemed to be a group of regulars. There was an occasional visit to the “private” area to the left of the bar, which now has doors, instead of the beaded curtains of the past. There were 6 dancers working, all white on this day. Body types and ages ranged, including two veterans who have been at various clubs in the area.

They don’t really do lap dances here. You either get what action you can at the bar, or you opt for the private area. I was quoted 300, which included a cut to the club.

I spent most of my time with a blonde at the bar. A little heavy but not obese. We did a decent amount of mutual groping, and had a good conversation. I gave her some money for her time and moved on to the next club.
