Swing shift

This is a review for a Friday evening visit from a couple weeks ago. Arrived around 7pm. Approached the door and noticed the door guy was outside smoking and talkn to another guy. He quickly greeted me and walked in ahead of me. Paid the usual $5 cover, and he went back outside. Walking in, there is a stage to the left that is elevated a few steps, then a small one connected to the bar, then the larger one towards the bathrooms and DJ booth. About 8 or so customers, spread out evenly.

I grabbed a table near the DJ, waitress came over promptly to take my order. $8 for a beer and tipped $2, which she was pleased with.

Noticed a few familiar faces, one of which was Melanie, super friendly but not the best for dances in my experience (usually has a a few too many rules, expensive and is a bit mechanical and rushed) .
