Heartbreakers on an uncrowded weeknight

I was in Milwaukee on business and decided to visit a few clubs on a weeknight, and picked Heartbreakers and Silk (separate review). I had not been to HB in several years, and it looked like they had remodeled and upgraded the interior which was nice and definitely not a dive bar. With not many in the club I was able to get street parking on National, right near the main entrance. Cover was $10 and I found a largely empty club with about 7-8 ladies working. Bathroom was large and clean. The main bar area had about 6 guys at tables or sitting at the bar, and the adjacent bar areas were empty.

The ladies were a mix of a few black ladies, maybe one hispanic, and white. While none were stunners all were in the 4-7 range on my rating scale. Three were sitting at a table and highly focused on their cell phones which is always a bit frustrating, are they there to text on their phone or to mingle with mongering customers and earn some private dance money? I did meet one lady who was one of the better looking dancers, and decided to have a private dance. Since this was a Milwaukee club my expectations were low, hoping for something better than an airdance. I was pleasantly surprised with the private dance, while still nowhere near the liberal high mileage dances available in other areas of the country it was better than I had hoped for. At $30 per song the value was not so great, but she was enticing enough to have a second dance. Even gave me a brief stripper handshake and offered her phone number. One note on the private dance area, I was required to pay in advance, but once in the private area we were given privacy. None of the other dancers were enticing me enough, so it was off to check out Silk on the Northwest side of the city.

One last note, like other Milwaukee bars the ladies do a tip walk when they get off stage. If you are deep in a conversation with a prospective private dance it can be a little annoying, and it is extra annoying if you do not have singles available and have to ask for change.
